Tim Meadows was a steady, reliable presence on SNL for a decade, making him one of the longest-running cast members of his time. His signature creation was Leon Phelps, the lisping, Courvoisier-sipping ‘Ladies Man’ radio host, a character so popular it spawned a feature film. Meadows was also an excellent straight man and had a knack for understated, funny performances that often grounded the more chaotic sketches. After his long tenure, he co-starred in the hit comedy Mean Girls, among other big screen appearances.
