Belo-Osagie joined the cast of Saturday Night Live for Season 52. She brings a New York sensibility to Studio 8H: she was born in Queens and lives in Brooklyn. Belo-Osagie has chops as a writer, director, filmmaker, actress, and comic. She will be championed as the first black female in the cast in a few years, but Belo-Osagie is far more than that and has a chance to stand out on SNL.
