Pete Davidson

Seasons 40-47

Pete Davidson joined SNL as one of its youngest-ever cast members and quickly became the show’s resident millennial voice. He primarily appeared on ‘Weekend Update’ as himself, using his own life, struggles with mental health, and dating history as fodder for his brutally honest and darkly funny comedy. His laid-back, ‘just-rolled-out-of-bed’ vibe was a unique contrast to the show’s more polished performers. He also created the recurring character Chad, a monosyllabic, oblivious guy who inexplicably charmed everyone. Since leaving SNL, Davidson has starred in the semi-autobiographical film The King of Staten Island and the series Bupkis, continuing to mine his own life for comedy and drama.
