A rubber-limbed ball of energy, Chris Kattan was a key player in the late ’90s cast, known for his uninhibited physical comedy. He was one half of the head-bopping Butabi brothers in the ‘A Night at the Roxbury’ sketches, a cultural phenomenon that spawned a feature film. His most bizarre and memorable creation was the feral, apple-humping monkey-man, Mr. Peepers. Kattan’s comedy was often wild, strange, and deeply committed. After SNL, he starred in Corky Romano, and worked in television and voice-over. He will always be remembered for the spastic, often shirtless, and always fearless energy he brought to Studio 8H.
