A powerhouse vocalist and a gifted comedic actress, Ana Gasteyer was a key player in the late ’90s cast. She co-created the beloved ‘Schweddy Balls’ sketch with Molly Shannon, a masterclass in double entendre. Her spot-on impression of Martha Stewart was a recurring highlight, as was her work as the earnest, folk-singing middle school music teacher Bobbi Mohan-Culp. Gasteyer’s performances were always intelligent and musically precise. Since leaving SNL, she has had a thriving career on Broadway, starring in productions of Wicked and Funny Girl.
