Melissa McCarthy Will Return for 6th SNL Hosting Gig on Dec. 6

One of this generation’s most popular hosts and a member of the Five-Timer’s Club will host Saturday Night Live on December 6.

Melissa McCarthy will host for the sixth time on Saturday, December 6. Her musical guest will be Dijon.

McCarthy previously hosted SNL on October 1, 2011 in Season 37, on April 6, 2013 in Season 38, on February 1, 2014 in Season 39, on February 13, 2016 in Season 41, and on May 13, 2017 in Season 42. The comedic actress also appeared frequently during the first Trump administration as Sean Spicer, who was briefly the press secretary.

SNL will have a two-week hiatus before the McCarthy episode, which will be the seventh in Season 51, and 995th in the history of the show.
