The 52nd season of Saturday Night Live features an episode ON Halloween for the first time in decades, and only the fourth time in the history of the program.
To celebrate the spookiness of this coincidence, I’ve watched every Halloween-inspired and scary-ass sketch in SNL history. My goal? To select the best Halloween-themed sketch ever. And the choice ended up being easier than I thought it would be.
It’s not unexpected that greatness leads to greatness. The best Halloween sketch in the history of SNL came out of the twisted mind of all-time great cast member Bill Hader. And while we rarely love sequels, this one is the second sketch in a series.
Enjoy, and Happy Halloween. BOOOOOOOO!
