Former Saturday Night Live funnywoman Rachel Dratch stars in an independent comedy film that will debut in November. Loves Company also stars Jack Plotnick, Sarah Baker, and Dustin Ingram. It will appear on select digital and streaming platforms on November 10, 2026.
Dratch plays a role in a Misery-style plot where her character kidnaps a celebrity in an obsessive act that spins into a publicity stunt of sorts. The project was written and directed by Jason Laurits, who previously was behind short films Goodbye Tango (2023) and Cocktail Hour (2022). The production company for Loves Company is Glue Productions.
Dratch spent seven seasons on SNL starting with Season 25 in 1999. The 60-year old comic actor has stayed busy since leaving the cast in 2006. She had roles on 30 Rock, Broad Street, and appeared in films such as Spring Breakdown. In recent years Dratch has had success on Broadway, earning Tony Award nominations in two plays this decade, including Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show.
