Fans of Saturday Night Live may get a Halloween treat this year when red-hot actress Inde Navarrette hosts the program. Navarrette has become a global star following her leading role in Obsession, which earned more than $300 million at the box office in 2026.
The psychological thriller is now available on Peacock, which undoubtedly was factored into Navarrette hosting SNL, which is also on an NBC platform. In less than three months on Peacock, Obsession has set records for most streams by a theatrical release on that digital network.
Navarrette came to prominence through her role on CW’s superhero drama series Superman & Lois in the early 2020s. She will be playing the character of Rogue in an upcoming X-Men film.
This will mark the fifth time that a live SNL episode will air on Halloween night. The other instances were:

Navarrette will be joined by Gracie Abrams, who is making her second appearance as musical guest. Abrams appeared along with host Chris Rock in Episode 9 of Season 50 of SNL on December 14, 2024. In what was otherwise a rather average episode, Abrams stood out with two fantastic musical performances. The 27-year old Spanish-born singer-songwriter won the American Music Award for New Artist of the Year in 2025. She began her rise to stardom as an opener for Olivia Rodrigo and Taylor Swift, each of whom have performed musically and hosted SNL.
